Our approach to 21st century learning
At Game2Learn we acknowledge the ever-expanding influence of technology on education. This interactivity with digital technology will continue to grow and subsequently influence how children learn.
At Game2Learn we believe that digital technology is an educational tool… NOT an education process in itself. So we designed our products to capitalise on the benefits of digital technology but still support sound pedagogy.
Designed to support
Subsequently, our educational products are designed to support a range of teaching and learning models*. To this end, Game2Learn educational products can be used in:
- Teacher led whole of classroom sessions
- An individual learning context (at home or school)
- Small group collaborative sessions (at home or school).
(* Provided the learning environment has the necessary digital equipment to run the products.)
Game2Learn educational products can also be used to complement and extend on traditional teaching practices and ‘Hands-0n’ math activities that use concrete materials.
To help achieve this, at Game2Learn we base our approach to learning and the design of our products on our 10 core principles of 21st century learning.
